What is it you look for in a boot?  Tread? Comfort? Warmth?  No matter what your fancy is with boots Danner has it. Danner boots are built on a solid reputation for hunting.  Years of innovation has separated Danner from the pack.  These boots are not only comfortable they are built on solid quality. Don’t believe me? Try them for yourself. Once you put them on you will be paying for them.  Now that is a sure thing.

I have used these boots for the 2010 season with no complaints.  Not only did they keep me warm, dry and comfortablethey also made me look good.

The Danner Pronghorn series has been a favorite of hunters for years. Now, in 2010 we're introducing some key changes while keeping most elements of the classic design. The new Tech-Tuff toe and heel protect the leather and your feet from sharp rocks and other hazards on or off the trail. An improved lacing system and more aggressive outsole were engineered to keep you secure and agile over long distances.

Muck Boots

The Woody Max is a new product for Bowhunter Planet for 2011.  My name is Brian and I am going to be testing the Woody Max Muck boot this season. I am so excited!  This boot looks like it is going to meet all my needs for the up coming year.  There are many qualities I look for when picking a hunting boot.

1. It has to be a rubber boot.  As a bowhunter it is vital to be aware of scent control.  In order to have a whitetail come within bow range you need to do everything inyour power to keep your scent under control.

2. It has to be waterproof.  You never know what type of hunting condition you might run into.  It is a great feeling to have the peace of mind knowing your feet will stay dry.

3.The boot must have a good heavy duty tread on the sole.  With all the different types of terrain weencounter it is important  have a bootthat will handle them.

4.  It must have a good insulation rating.  There is no worse feeling than to be sitting in your stand and you have no feeling left in your feet.  The Woody Max looks like a awesome boot!  I feel it is going to be a perfect addition to my 2011 hunting gear!

Well my first thoughts were these boots are going to be super warm.  My thoughts and reality were spot on.  These boots are not only super warm they are scent proof.  LaCrosse really did a great job on these boots giving the hunter a perfect hunting boot. I would not go into the woods without these.  They are comfortable and easy to slip on due to inside straps that allow you to pull up the boot.
